Public asked to help do art for pillar project

The regular public can help create art for three pillars to be put in Ottawa. Artist Susan Burton will show people how to do it at Reddick Library from 10am to 4pm Thursday.

She says you don’t have to have much artistic ability to glue together the glass and marble pieces of the butterfly. You can follow the design given or go your own way.

During the next five weeks, she’ll have other sessions at other places where people can design bees and flowers for the eight-foot tall pillars.
