LA SALLE – Gio Resendez scored twice for the Pirates (9-13), while Kekoa Gross added a goal and an assist, and Mateo Mendez also found the net in the victory. Andrew Hancock contributed an assist for Ottawa.

Grand Ridge splits with Marquette

GRAND RIDGE – The Lady Mohawks’ seventh graders (6-5) edged the Lady Knights, 17-15. Nora Cave scored seven points for Grand Ridge, while Ava Offerman, Kylie Rhodes, Abby Johannson, Shaelyn Groesbeck and Lydia Cowley each finished with two points.

Grand Ridge (3-5) lost the eighth grade game, 20-12. Marissa Vickers had eight points and Amelia King chipped in four points in the loss.

LA SALLE – The Lady Eagles (4-7) swept singles play, with Madalyn Robbins (4-6, 6-2, 10-7), Kaitlyn Sopko (6-0, 6-2), Karlee Arjes (6-0, 6-0), Kiara Tate (6-2, 4-6, 10-8), Julia Browning (7-5, 6-2) and Maya Durdan (6-0, 6-1) capturing victories.

Doubles winners included Robbins and Tate (6-2, 6-4), Arjes and Browning (6-3, 6-0), and Durdan and Emma Proffitt (6-0, 6-0).
