Ottawa High School 1969 graduate Tim Jobst is one of this year’s OHS Hall of Fame inductees. He was a battalion commander in the school’s military program, served on the student council, and was an athlete in the wrestling, track, and football programs.
Jobst’s teaching career happened at five high schools in northern Illinois including OHS where he became the head football coach. His teams went to the playoffs seven times and won three championships. Jobst has also owned some local businesses including the Nautilus Fitness Center and Jimmy John’s restaurants.
He and his brother Tom are being inducted to the Hall of Fame together this weekend.
