The annual state of the city address in Ottawa is going to be different this year. For one thing, it’s not in October like it usually is.
Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce Assistant Executive Director Meg Skelly says it’s scheduled for Thursday, May 21 with a reception at four. The idea is to have it near the end of Mayor Bob Eschbach’s 20-years in Office.
Skelly says the mayor’s full remarks won’t be given at the event.
People do need to reserve a spot ahead of time by calling 815-433-0084.
