OSF Healthcare is opening a new urgent care facility on Columbus Street on Ottawa’s north side.
OSF Urgo Director Sheila Mercer says all the facility needs to open on Tuesday are patients.
Urgo stand for urgent care on the go.
She says Urgo is there for on-demand healthcare.
There was a ribbon cutting and blessing of the building Thursday.
Mayor Bob Eschbach says new facility is part of the partnership Ottawa has with OSF.
Deacon Ron Wackerlin performed the blessing.
Urgo staff were there to give tours. The goal is to get people in and out in around 30-minutes.
