Fired Deputy Auditors turned away from courthouse by County Board Chairman

Fired Deputy Auditors Pamela Wright and Tori Artman were turned away from the Etna Road Court Monday morning.

Tom Kramarsic, with Courthouse Security, says the two were stopped by County Board Chairman Jim Olson.

Wright and Artman are accused in an overtime pay theft scheme. The county board’s Salary and Labor Committee voted to fire them last month.

Auditor Jody Wilkinson is also charged in the theft case.

She was barred from the entering her office until earlier this month when a judge ruled that the county board has no legal authority to keep her out.
