More than $77,000 damage estimated from train-truck crash

Damage from the traffic crash that closed part of Boyce Memorial Dr. last Thursday is estimated at $7,500 to the train and $70,000 to the truck. The Ottawa Fire Department says the truck spilled some diesel fuel. Fire fighters put a sand mix on it to contain it. The cleanup lasted for about six hours. The truck carried a load of urea pellets, used in fertilizer.
