St. Sen. Sue Rezin of Morris is mulling over a run for Congress in the 14th District.
The district was recently won by Naperville Democrat Lauren Underwood who beat incumbent Republican Randy Hultgren of Plano.
Rezin says that shouldn’t have happened.
She’ll be joining a crowded field of Republicans vying for the nomination.
Among the names on the list are James Marter, who lost to Cong.
Adam Kinzinger in the primary for the 16th District seat and St. Sen. Jim Oberweis.
Morris is just out of the 14th District, but members of Congress don’t need to live in the districts they represent.
Rezin has been representing the 38th Illinois Senate District since 2010.
Rezin spoke about it on WCMY’s “Morning Meeting” program Monday.
