Art project will drape crime scene tape on tree in Streator

In conjunction with his high school class’s 40th reunion, artist L.G. Williams will drape crime scene tape in a tree at Streator City Park.

The art project is called Don’t Look at That Tree. The idea is to make people think of nature as a crime scene for various reasons, especially climate change. Williams will welcome volunteers to essentially tee-pee the tree at 10am Friday, June 28th. He’ll also welcome help removing the tape and cleaning up at 10am on Sunday the 30th.
