Free measles-mumps-rubella shot clinic in Ottawa

Free measles, mumps, and rubella shots are being offered by the LaSalle County Health Department this Friday, July 12 from 10am to 2pm. No appointment is needed, but people are asked to bring their vaccination records, if possible.

The clinic will be at the former Save-A-Lot store parking lot along Illinois 23 on Ottawa’s south side. A grant is paying for it, so people who get shots there won’t be charged. The health department says it wants to protect more people from measles as it’s becoming more common in the United States.
