Prescription medicine costs, border security, and health insurance issues for Rezin campaign

Morris State Sen. Sue Rezin filed paperwork to run for Congress in the 14th District, in Northeastern Illinois, in the 2020 Election on Tuesday.

Prescription medicine prices are one issue Rezin wants to tackle if elected.

She also wants to secure the southern border with Mexico. Rezin calls the situation there out of control and dangerous for Americans and immigrants entering the country illegally.

She says children in detention should be looked after.

Rezin also wants to stop what she’s calling a left-wing attempt to end private health insurance.

Rezin will be competing against five other Republicans running for the district.

It’s currently represented by Democrat Lauren Underwood.
