Habitat For Humanity donations are still needed for Ottawa project

Donations are still coming in for the Habitat For Humanity project on Ottawa’s south side. Executive Director Sally Van Cura is budgeting for $80,000 in expenses, but she hopes to bring the cost down through donations of materials and work.

In the event she can bring it down so low the donations cover more than enough, the remaining funds will help pay for the next home project.

Van Cura accepted the latest donation, $7,500, from the Miller Group Charitable Trust Wednesday.
