Seneca High School prepares to put an overflow parking lot where a house used to be

There’s one less house in the neighborhood of Seneca High School. The school district bought that house a few years ago and rented it out until the tenants moved out. Then the district had the place torn down.

Supt. Jim Carlson says a gravel parking lot will take its place this spring or summer. To make room for that though, 21 trees must come out.

The spot is between the west campus and the maintenance building.
