4H special interest classes aim to attract kids from beyond the farm

Kids who take a coding class in LaSalle through LaSalle County 4H will become 4H members. That class is from one of the 4H SPIN, or special interest, clubs. Youth Development Coordinator Toni Pienta says it’s one of the things 4H does to attract kids into 4H programs, which offer many clubs and activities. It’s always up to the kids to decide which activities to do.

The coding class starts on Saturday, March 7 and costs $20. Anyone interested can call 815-433-0707 to find out more.
