OHS to have enough laptop computers for students to take home

Nearly all Ottawa High School students will be issued laptop computers this fall. So if there are still restrictions on holding classes normally, the teachers will be able to teach students remotely. Supt. Mike Cushing says it was going to happen anyway, but grant money for handling the COVID-19 restrictions sped things up.

Last week, the school board approved a $107,565 bid from CDW for 428 laptops to add to the stock OHS already has and for 1,350 laptop bags. That’s how many student laptop computers the school will have altogether.
