The weekday morning from 5:30 to 10:00 on WCMY1430 is hosted by Jay LeSeure, who has been starting the day for LaSalle County since 1985 with news, information, and conversation. He also serves both WCMY and 95.3 JackFM as the Operations Manager and Program Director.

He is active in the community as the Chairman of the Ottawa YMCA Board of Directors, a member of the LaSalle County Emergency Telephone System Board, serves as the Public Information Officer for the LaSalle County Emergency Management Agency, a member of the Public Policy Team of the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and helps with the annual Fireworks Show as a member of Ottawa First.

Jay is a native of Centralia, Illinois, his wife is Mary Beth and they have two college-age children, and he started his paid broadcasting career at the age of 15 after hanging around a radio station in some fashion or another since he was 8 years old.
