Kubota Corporation has announced it will work with Buhler Industries Inc. to develop a new line of large tractors.
Kubota product marketing director of ag equipment Martin
Carrier tells Brownfield they will be customizing the tractor to the needs of
livestock producers with crossover into crop farming.
“Talking large square baler, larger mower conditioner, maybe even bigger round balers in the typical application of that product. Those larger livestock farmers also have a row crop component which it will perform well.”
Tractors will be more than 170-horsepower and available in the second half of 2019 in the U.S.
