People dropping off live Christmas trees at the Riordan Pool parking lot in Ottawa are finding it already filled with other trees. City Commissioner Marla Rodriguez says the trees still being cut up and mulched after the August derecho are still there.
You can still take a Christmas tree, if you’re an Ottawa resident. Take off all the lights, ornaments, and tinsel. Since the city’s going to be mulching trees for some time, there’s no hard deadline for dropping off the Christmas trees.
