Riverfest music lineup brings back Sunday performances in 2017

Ottawa Riverfest’s 2017 music lineup is out and Sunday is back. Mayor Bob Eschbach says vendors wanted to keep things going on Sunday.

Mike Story and Kim Stafford on the music committee say the committee decided to make it all local starting after the parade. The Starved Rockers Music Rock School will put local talent in front of a live audience for the first time. Rockology Inc. plays classic rock, new age, pop, and modern hit songs. Bob Bradish and the Backstabbers performs rock, blues, soul, and pop.

And admission to the concert area will be free on Sunday. It’ll be $2 for the other days.

The lineup this year includes Saturday night performances by Creedence Revived and Silver Bullet Stl which drew big crowds last year.
