CHICAGO (AP) — Todd Frazier hit a grand slam and drove in a season-high five runs to lead the New York Mets to a 10-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs and avenge a tough loss earlier in the day. Frazier gave New York a 4-0 lead in the first with his drive against Alec Mills and added an RBI single in a two-run ninth. In a game suspended the previous night because of rain, Ben Zobrist hit a bases-loaded RBI single in 11th inning to give the Cubs a 2-1 victory over the Mets.
NEW YORK (AP) — Ryan LaMarre homered and drove in a career-best four runs, Reynaldo Lopez stifled the Yankees again despite diminished velocity and the Chicago White Sox beat New York 4-1. LaMarre hit a pair of run-scoring doubles off starter CC Sabathia, then lifted a leadoff shot against Chad Green in the seventh. The 29-year-old had one previous homer this season and one all of last season between Triple-A and the majors. New York fell 7 1/2 games behind Boston in the AL East.

The top fighters in six weight classes will make the playoffs and the championship bouts will be held on Dec. 31 at Madison Square Garden.
