The drivers license station in Ottawa will close at the end of this week. An announcement from the Secretary of State’s Office says it couldn’t work out a new lease with the owner. The state will try to find another place in Ottawa to do business.
In the meantime, drivers who would normally go to the Ottawa location for drivers licensing, license plates, and similar business may still go to LaSalle, Streator, Mendota, or Morris. Some services are also available online at http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com.
