The annual Penguin Plunge event, where teams of people raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and then jump into the freezing Illinois River, will be different next year.
Heritage Harbor isn’t available for one big event, so Co-coordinator Linda Johnson says there will be many smaller events in the form of a mobile plunge.
The plunge will now be in the form of dunk tank.
Teams will still need to raise funds.
Johnson says more information is coming.
