You can call it fake, you can call it a male soap opera, trash it all you want…but when it’s done right, Professional Wrestling is magical. Dare I say it, GOOD Professional Wrestling is HIGH ART. It’s not a sip of fancy wine at the theater, it’s enjoying A Little Bit of the Bubbly while watching a crazy high spot, or dramatic heel turn. And for the longest time, Professional Wrestling has been controlled by one organization. Not anymore. Enter AEW, All Elite Wrestling, a new league of young up and coming stars, and a few old familar faces bringing a Super Kick Party to shake up the wrestling landscape. Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of chatting with two of the Executive VPs of AEW, who also happen to be highly regarded as the best tag team on the planet, Matt and Nick Jackson, The Young Bucks! Here’s our full chat including questions about what makes AEW different, Japan, the changes in Tag Team Wrestling over the years, where they came up with some of their inventive moves, the Omega/Moxley Unsanctioned Lights Out match, Orange Cassidy and more!
AEW Dynamite airs Wednesday nights at 7pm on TNT, and will be live from the State Farm Center in Champaign tomorrow night (Wed. Dec. 4th) and tickets are still available.
