ROOTS with ROBB: The Cranberries

ROOTS with ROBB: The Cranberries

A first for this week of Roots…in light of the current world situations, we had our first ‘Social Distancing’ episode with Robb calling in over the phone.  Wash your hands, stay home if you’re sick, practice social distancing.  If you’re an employer and your employees have the ability to work from home, let them.  The only way we’re going to beat this is to take social distancing seriously.  And Robb touches on a lot of insurance questions that are going around right now with the Corona Virus impacting everyone.  Onto the show…

Of all the roots we’ve done so far, this may be a first.  The one thing that makes the band stand out, it’s biggest strength, can also sometimes be its biggest weakness.  Dolores O’Riordan has an amazing and unique voice.  But personally, too much of it can get grating.  But without her, the band’s sound is completely different.  Without her, they probably slide into obscurity.

John Norris sighting ahead!  MTV news did this documentary on the band in 1996.  I think I remember watching this on MTV back in the day.
