A man in his forties is the seventh confirmed coronavirus case in LaSalle County. The person is hospitalized in isolation. The Health Department is stressing that even though the number of confirmed cases is low, there is no way of knowing how many people in the county have the virus because many cases only have minor or moderate symptoms. Everyone should assume they have been exposed to the virus, stay home, and practice social distancing when out. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is now asking people to wear cloth masks to help prevent the spread of the virus.
