Farmers dealing with low commodity prices

Farmers are still in the fields and barns despite the coronavirus pandemic. LaSalle County Farm Bureau President David Isermann says the challenge has not been producing the goods.

He says a drop in demand is impacting the whole agriculture business from livestock to ethanol. But, he says even when farmers get sick crops will still be planted and there will still be plenty of food. Another challenge facing farmers is getting their produce into the hands of consumers.
