Ottawa Elementary District prepares for more e-learning

By WCMY News May 22, 2020 | 6:00 AM

With the possibility of more learning from home on the horizon, the Ottawa Elementary School District is working to improve its e-learning. Supt. Cleve Threadgill addressed a comment from a parent who said it was difficult to keep up with their kid’s different classes and platforms at the board meeting earlier this week.

Threadgill says he would like to have some tutorials for parents. He also says the district is working on using more video instruction. He says the district was caught off-guard by the pandemic and is doing its best to adjust.
