LaSalle County is up to 135 residents who’ve tested positive for the coronavirus. The county’s health department Saturday added two people to the running tally. A man in his 60s and a man in his 90s are the latest cases. One more person has recovered, bringing that total to 73.
Putnam County has a coronavirus case now. It was one of the few counties remaining that hadn’t reported a case yet.
The Illinois Department of Public Health added 2,352 to its statewide case tally, making the total 107,796. The state added 75 deaths, bringing the total to 4,790.
