The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation is getting $5,000 for COVID-19 relief from Corn Belt Energy. The foundation can use the money to help people directly affected by the pandemic. The utility is providing the money through its Sharing Success program. In that program, Corn Belt and a cooperative bank called CoBank run a matching grant program for supporting community projects. Corn Belt is also supporting a Bloomington-Normal area program that is providing food and masks to people.
