The Marseilles Fun Days committee decided to cancel this year’s event over restrictions in place because of the coronavirus pandemic. Committee member Catherine Strottner says the fireworks are also canceled.
Strottner says the committee played with several ideas about having smaller events this year, but couldn’t think of anything feasible. She’s looking into having some kind of event, possibly with fireworks in the fall, but nothing is planned yet. The plan is to bring the festival back in July 2021.
