Morris Republican State Senator Sue Rezin says what happened to George Floyd while in the custody of Minneapolis police is unconscionable. She says that peaceful protests are being hijacked by outside agitators who aren’t interested in justice. Rezin thinks that violence isn’t the way to change anything.

Rezin says small businesses already in trouble because the coronavirus shutdown can’t afford to rebuild if they get destroyed in rioting.

She’s calling this a pivotal moment of change that will shape future generations.
