The Illinois Department of Public Health is releasing more county-specific data on COVID-19 infections. A page on the agency’s website shows how each county is doing with reopening metrics.
LaSalle County’s test positivity percentage is just 1% – well below the target 10%. 55.3% of ICU beds in the county are open – well above the 20% target.
The dept. says if your county is not meeting its targets to reconsider hosting gatherings or going out to eat.
IDPH says people should still wear masks in public, practice social distancing, and frequently wash hands.
