Illinois Democratic Senator Tammy Duckworth is finding it hard to believe that President Trump was unaware of an alleged plot to put bounties on U.S. troops in Afghanistan by Russia.
Duckworth says if the president’s staff didn’t tell him about it, it means they don’t trust him with the information.
Duckworth says she knows of at least one service member who reportedly died because of the bounties.
President Trump has said because the information wasn’t verified, it wasn’t brought to him.
