The Sandwich Fair Association has canceled the annual fair that has been held in Sandwich since the 1880’s due to coronavirus concerns. It was planned for September.
A statement from the fair association says the decision is based on information from the DeKalb County Health Department and the Illinois Department of Public Health.
The announcement says safety of fair goers and workers is the top priority. The fair will return in 2021 – September 8-12.
