Volunteers of all skill levels needed for home rehab in Ottawa

By Billy Thompson Jul 1, 2020 | 4:46 AM

In one week, Habitat for Humanity of LaSalle, Bureau, and Putnam Counties wants to start its part of a rehab project on Ottawa’s west side. The home belongs to 34-year old Marine Corps veteran Jeremy Close. Floors, walls, and ceilings need to be installed. There’s also plumbing work to do.

Executive Director Sally Van Cura says people of all skill levels are needed and should call 815-434-2041 soon.

Van Cura says it would be a great project for employer, veteran, and church groups.
