Congressional Candidate giving federal government an “F” for pandemic response

LaSalle Democrat Dani Brzozowski isn’t grading the federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic very highly.

Brzozowski thinks the federal government should be doing more by way of legislation to help families and businesses being affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Brzozowski says the stimulus money handed out in the springtime isn’t enough to get people out of work through the pandemic’s hit to the economy.

She calls the loss of life heartbreaking and a tragedy.

Brzozowski is running against Republican Adam Kinzinger in the 16th District. WCMY has reached out to Kinzinger for comment. We will publish his remarks on the topic if they are provided.
