The Illinois Department of Public Health added 587 new coronavirus cases to its count on Tuesday. There were 37 new deaths across the state.
The LaSalle County Health Department added six new cases Tuesday. One new recovery was also reported. County totals are at 234 cases and 170 recoveries.
State totals are at 148,452 cases and 7,063 deaths.
As of Monday night, 1,385 people with COVID-19 were in Illinois Hospitals. 230 were in intensive care units and 153 were on ventilators.
