Ottawa Police Chief Brent Roalson isn’t against seeing more training for police officers in social work. He doesn’t think there will ever be a time when police aren’t needed on the streets.
Roalson isn’t for requiring officers to have a four-year degree. He says police training is constantly changing to help officers better respond to the community’s needs.
