Sox baseball is on the air Sunday night

Chicago White Sox Baseball returns to 1430 WCMY beginning Sunday night with the first of three exhibition games ahead of the pandemic-shortened 60 game season.

The Sox and Cubs will play at Wrigley Field Sunday evening with the first pitch at 7:05 and pre-game at 6:30. Then, Monday night the scene shifts to Guaranteed Rate Field as the Sox will host the northsiders in a 7:10 game. The season warm-up will wrap up on Wednesday as the Sox host the Brewers in another 7:10 contest.

The short season will open Friday night as the White Sox host the Minnesota Twins for the first of three games.

Andy Masur will take the place of the late Ed Farmer in joining Darrin Jackson on the White Sox Radio Network.

And, keep in mind, White Sox games are not permitted on the 1430 WCMY on-line stream. The broadcasts can only be heard on-air at 1430 AM.
