The LaSalle County Health Department reported one additional COVID-19 related death on Wednesday for a total of 22 deaths. Forty-four new cases were also announced by the health department. The county’s total number of cases is at 621. The county also announced eight new recoveries for a total of 274.
The State of Illinois reported 1,759 new cases and 30 additional deaths. State totals are at 186,471 cases and 7,573 deaths. 1,552 people are currently hospitalized for COVID-19 in Illinois.
