ComEd is now estimating it will need until Saturday to restore electric service to the places it serves in this area. About 42% of the company’s LaSalle County customers don’t have service.
OSF Healthcare on Ottawa’s south side will remain closed until power is restored. People will be contacted about appointments with the doctors there.
Telephones aren’t working at Illinois Valley Community Hospital’s Hygienic Institute, the Center for Rehabilitation and Aquatics, and Urgent Care. But those locations are open for their normal hours.
Illinois Valley Community College expects to reopen Wednesday. Virtual Express Registration is rescheduled to Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm.
