Four additional COVID-19 related deaths were reported by the LaSalle County Health Department on Monday. The people listed were a woman in her seventies, two women in their nineties, and a male in his nineties. A total of 34 people have died of the virus.
Six new cases were also added to the health department’s tally today for a total of 962.
Ten new recoveries were also announced for a total of 463. The recovery rate is at 48.1 percent.
The State of Illinois announced 1,773 new cases and 12 additional deaths. State figures are at 207,854 cases and 7,756 deaths. 1,544 people are currently hospitalized for COVID-19 in Illinois with 340 patients in ICU beds and 126 patients on ventilators.
