The TBM Avenger Reunion intends to have the vintage airplanes and salute to veterans in Peru again next year. It was cancelled this year because of the pandemic, and trying to have it in Terre Haute, Indiana didn’t pan out. Event committee chairman Cary Miller says it’s a very special event for veterans who get to see up close the kinds of airplanes they defended the country in.
Miller asked the Peru City Council to restore funding for the event to be held next May. It’ll be on the next city council meeting agenda.
