A local Marseilles resident gets attention for his good works. If you are ever driving down Pacific Street between First and Main in Marseilles on any given summer weekend, you will no doubt see Bob Heath out cutting grass along long public stretches of property. If he is not doing that, he’s likely involved in some other such community minded civic service.

Wednesday night at Marseilles City Hall, Bob was given credit for his efforts by the Marseilles City Council. It may not have been accompanied by a Bob Heath Day, there may have been no proclamation documents, but it was made official none the less.
