Parts of Ottawa High School are being deep cleaned because someone there has tested positive for the coronavirus. The person was last in the building on Friday. The announcement from the school Monday doesn’t say if the person is an employee or a student, however, not many students are going to the school lately because they’re on remote learning.
The LaSalle County Health Department added 20 cases to its tally Monday for 1,734 and 42 recoveries for 1,174.
The Illinois Department of Public Health says the case count is up by 1,709 to 289,639. Thirteen more fatal cases counted Monday make 8,614 across the state.
