Grundy County Coroner John Callahan calls it a freak crash. Fifty-three year old Christopher T. Daly of Sheridan died Friday after a deer crash through his windshield. Another vehicle hit the deer, sending it up in the air into Daly’s car. Callahan says Daly suffered a head injury. The crash was on Illinois 71 near Newark. Daly was taken to Morris Hospital and died in the emergency room.
