A bridge being constructed at E. 12th Rd. and Interstate 80 five miles west of Ottawa will cause overnight closures on Interstate 80. The Illinois Department of Transportation will detour traffic to Illinois 178, U.S. 6, and Illinois 23.
The Interstate highway’s eastbound lanes between Ottawa and Utica will be closed from 9pm Monday, November 2 to 5am Tuesday, November 3. The westbound lanes will be closed the next night to Wednesday morning.
