The Ottawa Elementary School District will be requesting $9,849,626.00 in real estate taxes for the schools next year.
The amount is a 3.47 increase from last year and since that is not over 5%, it will not require a truth in taxation hearing.
The School Board plans to adopt the levy request on December 7th.
The School District received $9,519,495.00 this year.
The Board met Tuesday night at Jefferson Elementary.
