The Peru City Council last week awarded a contract to Advanced Asphalt to continue the Midtown Rd. extension. City Engineer Eric Carls says there were two bidders, almost $900,000 apart. The low bid was $1.8 million.
It will include storm sewer, curb, and gutter installation on 26th St. and Point Blvd.
