People who are eligible for COVID-19 vaccines in “Phase 1B” can sign up to be notified at the LaSalle County Health Department’s web site. The department says it expects to move into that phase next week. People age 65 and up will get priority.
The phase expands the number of essential workers who can get the vaccines. Food and agriculture workers, those in manufacturing, the postal service, public transit, grocery store, adult day care and homeless shelters, and taxi drivers are among those eligible.
